I am an independent, professional driving instructor based in Yeadon, West Yorkshire. I will be your trusted instructor for every lesson, and the majority of my referrals are from recommendations.
I have lived and worked in the area for over 20 years, teaching all ages, genders and levels of ability, from nervous to confident drivers. I am a fully qualified female driving instructor who gets to understand each pupil’s way of learning to then tailor instruction to their needs and learning style.
It’s hugely rewarding to share this major milestone with pupils themselves, to see them go from not being able to drive, to then passing their test and starting to be an independent driver, setting them up for life.

Yes, as an ADI (Authorised Driving Instructor), I am fully qualified, check tested, and CRB checked. I display my green ADI badge in my windscreen. “trainee” instructor (PDI) has a pink badge.

It will be in a quiet area, where you will learn the controls of the car, and then we aim to get you setting off, stopping, uphill, downhill, and steering and mirror work practise.

Usually, the lessons are 1.5 hours. These can be changed or adapted where needed.

The DVSA states that the average number of lessons to get to test standard is 45 hours tuition with a qualified driving instructor, plus 22 hours of private practise.

The car is a petrol Skoda Fabia 1l colour match edition with dual controls. It is a fully insured driving school car. Feedback from pupils is that they enjoy learning to drive in the car as the controls are easy to manage.

Prices are dependent on a number of factors. Student, block booking, NHS and beginner package pricing are available.

The main test centres are Horsforth and Knareborough. Other test centres may be used where availability requires.
